At some point in the process of creation it turns out that the seen world can no longer cater for the painter's deepest intuitions; this is a signal that the process of seeking for and maturing of the right internal form has started. It is usually harmonious, symmetric and highly organized. The revealing form is always more spiritual and perfect in concept than the artistic artifact itself. Artistic realization constrains the pure vision in dark earthly substance. It is the artist's task to create such an artistic situation so as to elevate the material of art to the highest possible level of participation in the epiphanic form that is just becoming present...
