
Władysław Podrazik was born in 1953 in Jodłowa, in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. He is a graduate of the General Secondary School in Jodłowa. In 1972, he commenced his studies at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. After interrupting his studies due to family circumstances, he undertook training in the sculpture studio of Stanisław Proszowski in Jodłowa-Nagórze.
In 1975, he passed the guild examination, obtaining the title of journeyman wood sculptor, and began independent craft practice. In 1978, he embarked on extramural studies at the Faculty of Art History of the Jagiellonian University, while simultaneously seeking to further develop his sculptural skills in the studio of Professor Jerzy Bandura. In 1981, he designed the “Solidarity” monument in Jodłowa.
